Georg Spalatin-Relief

Wenzeslaus Linck-Relief

No more than twelve Brothers of the Order ever lived in the former Franciscan Monastery. The Monastery was found on the grounds where the Brüderkirche stands today. In the northern part of the grounds the Monastery Wall can still be seen.
On the left side above the Brüderkirche entrance there is a 3-meter tall statue of Martin Luther at the Diet of Worms.

Below are busts of Georg Spalatin and Wenzeslaus Linck - two greats of the Reformation.

All of the façade figures were built by Richard Grüttner from Berlin.
